Rocco (Rocky) L. Adornato is a patent licensing professional with more than twenty years of experience advising technology companies on patent licensing, monetization, enforcement, and defense. He has served as first-chair counsel on complex patent transactions and regularly counsels executives on patent strategy across the full IP lifecycle, from invention harvesting and portfolio development to assertion, licensing, and sales.

Rocky has held senior in-house and executive roles at organizations including FORVIA Faurecia, Intellectual Ventures, and Rovi Corporation (now Adeia), where his work contributed to licensing and monetization revenues in the nine-figure range. He also brings significant private-practice experience from leading patent boutiques. Rocky has a technical background in electrical and computer engineering and is a registered patent attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Rocky has received his bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from Auburn University and his J.D. from the University of Richmond.
